As an avid listener and dynamic communicator, Stephanie Huang has always had a gift for building connections with those around her. That’s part of why she’s been so successful in property management—deftly overseeing employees, maintaining positive relationships with tenants, and managing properties with values of up to $40M. Those same communication skills, coupled with her fluent Spanish, also help her forge ties within the community, even leading to a spot on television speaking with Metro police about crime prevention. Yet Stephanie is just as happy working behind the scenes, developing detailed systems for better efficiency and collaborating with teammates toward company goals.
As a member of Adelphi, Stephanie continues to strive for excellence while pushing herself to constantly learn and adapt. She approaches each new task with determination, curiosity, and empathy, and she prides herself on adding value to whatever she undertakes. When it comes to commercial real estate, she loves meeting with clients in a wide range of businesses, as well as checking out all the new developments around town. Whether she’s trying out the latest restaurant or discovering a new store to buy treats for her dog, Stephanie is always up for anything that allows her to explore and connect with others.
Tell us about one of your greatest accomplishments.
My biggest accomplishment in life is my career, and I’m incredibly proud of all the hard work, dedication, and perseverance that it took to get where I am today. Years ago, I was unsure where I was heading in my career. That’s why I’m especially thankful to have found fulfilling work that allows me to add value and help others. Not only do I have room to continue growing, but it also keeps me motivated to work hard so that I can create the best possible life for myself and my family—and build a foundation for future generations.
What is your fondest memory?
Back in high school, I got an amazing opportunity to play my cello at the Smith Center of Performing Arts. Being there with so many talented students, teachers, and professionals, and being able to fill such an incredible space with music—it was truly unforgettable.
What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever seen?
If I had to pick, I’d say Kaanapali, Hawaii. The water there was so clear that we could see the fish swimming underneath us and watch the crabs climbing up the reefs. The landscapes were gorgeous, and everywhere we went looked like a postcard. As someone who loves seafood, I was also blown away by all the delicious meals. And the guava butter. Can’t forget about the guava butter.
